IS THIS YOU???

WE FEEL YOUR PAIN!

(And we have the cure for what ails you)

We are (not unreasonably) PROUD to present the first club event of the 2025 Ski Season, where the Delta Ski & Snowboard Club will be defending their SWEEP of the NAASF season awards for the first time in many, many, many orbits of the nearest star. I can see snow from my house again and it's not going anywhere for the next 6 months or so - so it is time to start preparing!!

I know you've all been running, doing serious core exercises, burpees, plyometrics, swimming, cardio, and pumping up your leg days - now it's time to reward all of that hard work with your first taste of ON SNOW activity!! Grab your skis and boards and make the trek over to the DSSC Copper Training Camp the second week of December, 2024 at Copper Mountain, CO!

This season we have an opportunity to get Snowboard-specific RACE TRAINING if we can get FIRM commitments ASAP. If you are interested in learning to carve a snowboard and to be a better snowboard racer, PLEASE let Todd Hensley from UAL and DSSC Snowboard Team Captain Stephen Rocha know you will be at the camp by sending them emails at the links below!! (DO THIS NOW) You will also need to go through the registration process described below and make your reservations for accommodations.

Please make sure you read through ALL of the information below! The discount tickets for non-IKON pass members are only available if you are also purchasing a coaching package. All of this information is also available on the DSSC website.

During the week, we meet at different places for après ski, have a DSSC Pizza Party, participate in the annual UPS Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl, and attend the annual UAL White Elephant Gift Exchange party at Zacatecas Mexican Restaurant. While the conditions on the mountain aren't guaranteed - this is early season skiing/boarding when it is possible not all of the mountain will be open - we have had year after year of great skiing and boarding for our Camp and we would love to see you there!

Whether you are just learning to ski or snowboard, you're a returning B Racer, or a veteran A Racer, we can all use some coaching lessons early in the season to remind us of what we should be concentrating on to get out of the gate early on the right foot. Come knock off the rust with the rest of us!!

As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to text, call, or email me!
