WELCOME TO TELLURIDE

The last NAASF week of the season! After some strong performances in the first two NAASF weeks and being at the top pf the table in a lot of NAASF categories, we are ready to close the season! This week's coordinator is Telluride local Lesli Tomasini! She has been hard at work putting an awesome week together for us. If you have any questions about this week, please reach out to her!

PRE SKI WEEK

It has become a custom to start off the Telluride Ski Week Saturday, March 30th, at the world famous Lone Cone Saloon in Norwood, Colorado! Although not part of the ski week, many people drive to Telluride, and the Cone is on the way! This year will be extra special, as Mike Ludwig, a Delta pilot that lives in Park City, is bringing his band, Flexible Flyer, to put on an incredible show for us!

The restaurant can handle 50 dinners, and we can say it’s some of the best prime rib and chicken you will ever eat! Especially the prime rib! If you would like to attend, please call Lesli and make a food reservation for your choice of chicken OR prime rib!

It all starts Saturday at 5:30pm, band at 8pm!  You will want to stay at one of the local hotels in Norwood, or an Airbnb! Hope to see you there!

Call Lesli to confirm your choice ASAP as it’s limited to 50. $30, includes drink.

GETTING THERE

The beauty of Telluride, other than the majestic vistas, incredible terrain, and insanely long runs, is the fact that it’s hard to get to!  That being said, your best bet is to fly into Montrose MTJ and take a shuttle.

Many people drive from Salt Lake and Denver, so you might be able to catch a ride!

Other airports that are close and drivable via rental car are Cortez, Durango, Grand Junction, and Moab.

GETTING AROUND TELLURIDE

The free gondola between Telluride and Mountain Village runs from 6:30 AM until midnight, later on Friday and Saturday.

There is a free shuttle in the town of Telluride that does a loop and you can hop on and off anywhere

Locals Secret, if you have a car, you can park free at a place called Carhenge in Telluride. Not overnight, but during the day is free. Google it. Base of chair 7.

We hope you enjoy the last official week of the season. Hopefully Telluride was great and got you ready for the long summer break! As always, if there are any questions, please contact your Telluride coordinator:
