Training Camp - Copper Mountain

Our club dinner will be an informal get together at the Sawmill Tavern Monday night at 7pm. The DSSC will be picking up the tab for pizza!! Drinks and appetizers are on your own dime!

Tuesday night UPS is sponsoring their annual Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl - we will make sure everyone knows when/where we will be starting!

Wednesday night is the UAL White Elephant Gift Exchange at El Zacatecano Mexican Restaurant. This is one of the most fun events of the week - we encourage everyone to participate! Bring a wrapped gift of $25 value or less if you're joining in. We will have the exact start time this week. They have the best (and largest!) margaritas on the mountain, and the food is always awesome!

Stephen has set up a Whatsapp group for attendees - be sure to join in to keep up with the latest news during the week!

Mike is bringing a limited selection of club jackets, helmet covers and DSSC swag this week and will have them at the Sawmill on Monday night - ping him in the Whatsapp group or text to 435-252-4831 if you are interested in any of these items. For our record keeping, we will have you purchase them through the DSSC website, but you'll be able to wear it right out of the Sawmill!

LODGING RESERVATION INFORMATION

15% will be added to the total lodging cost (pretax) to confirm specific room features such as location, building or bedding.

Departure Clean Fee and Housekeeping Services

A Departure Clean Fee based on lodging unit size will be added to guest’s total lodging bill.

Lodging guests will not receive Housekeeping service during their stay. Additional amenities may be requested to be delivered by dialing ‘0’. A mid- stay clean may be scheduled for an additional fee, fees vary by unit.

No Shows

Rooms which have been reserved and whose attendees fail to show on their scheduled day of arrival, will be billed to the individual holding the reservations for the total lodging amount for the contracted time.
Early Departures
A fee of 100% of the remaining room nights lodging amount will be charged if an attendee checks out before their confirmed departure date. This may be waived for emergencies but must be authorized by Copper Mountain Resort.

Individual Lodging Deposit Policy

A 15% deposit on the entire length of stay will be required upon making reservations. The balance on the room reservation is due 14 days prior to arrival and will be automatically billed to the credit card on file.

Individual Lodging Cancellation Policy

If canceled 15 days or more prior to arrival date, refund on the deposit amount received will be made less 10%. If canceled 14 days or less prior to arrival, the individual is subject to full forfeiture of the reservation value.

Arrivals/Departures

Check-in time is 4:00 PM Check-out time is 10:00 AM. We will make our best effort to accommodate your group’s arrival schedule subject to “ready room” availability. Late check-outs are not encouraged; however, these may be possible for an additional fee and are subject to availability, please contact the front desk within 24 hours of departure to check availability.

Taxes & Surcharges

Above lodging rates do not include applicable tax and resort surcharge. Local tax is 8.375% and the resort Surcharge is 9.9%. Each lodging reservation is responsible for the applicable tax and resort surcharge as designated by the individual property management company assigned.

Cancellation Fee Waiver

During the booking process a Group Reservations Specialist will include the Cancellation Fee Waiver in the quoted reservation total so that the guest may be refunded payments if cancelling for a covered reason due to but not limited to injury, health, weather, road closures and job termination. If guest opts out of the Cancellation Fee Waiver within 14 days of arrival payments are non-refundable for any reason. The cost of Copper’s Cancellation Fee Waiver is 7% of the individual guest’s total purchase, calculated on the pretax amount.

Coaching/Lessons and Lift Tickets (Skier Service Products)

• Starting on August 1, 2023, your attendees will be able to call-in to reserve their coaching and lift tickets.

• Please advise attendees to call Copper Mountain Resort on our toll-free group reservations line at (866) 837-2996 between the

  dates August 1 and November 20, 2023.

• When calling the name of your group should be referenced as:

• Pre-arrival rates will be honored between August 1 and November 20, 2023.

• Attendees who do not reserved their Coaching/Lessons and Lift Tickets by November 20 will be required to purchase in person at

  the Mountain Sports Sales Center Desk at the top of escalators across from Jacks, in the Copper One Lodge, Center Village at

  the Onsite pricing.

• Coaching/Lessons and Tickets reserved in advance of arrival should be picked up at Mountain Sports Sales Center Desk at the

  top of escalators across from Jacks, in the Copper One Lodge, Center Village.

• Copper’s Mountain Sports Sales Center Desk is open 7 days a week, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, please plan accordingly, you will need

  to pick up your Coaching/Lesson vouchers and Lift Tickets prior to meeting your coach on Monday morning.

1. Adult Ski Race Coaching & Lessons (18+ intermediate level and up)

1. Ski coaching includes all day instruction (10:00 AM -3:00 PM). Instructors/Coaches will be chosen at Copper Mountain's discretion using top professionals. Participants will be split into groups according to ski level and goals on the first day of coaching. There is no guarantee a participant will be placed in the most accurate group for his/her ability if the original formation of groups on Dec 4 is missed. Copper reserves the right to place a participant into our regular daily ski school program to best address the individual's needs, progress, and safety. This is an adult ski program, not offered to anyone under 18. Coaching and Lessons meet on snow in Copper’s Center Village.
